Men's Ministry

The goal of the Men’s Ministry of Destin Assembly is to provide strong leadership – to lead men into prayer, wisdom, and support of other men. It’s about the older men teaching the younger men. Men that are going through tough times and situations are able to turn to seasoned, prayerful men for support. We are about bearing each others burdens and being there for one another.  
“Bear ye one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2)

The Mixx

The Mixx ministry is connecting singles with God's glory by creating an atmosphere that nurtures your purpose. We desire to bring strength and healing our desire is to see God do a mighty work in all singles over 36 years. This vision is an extension of, and complementary to, our Church Vision.

Young at Heart

Destin Assembly’s Young at Heart Ministry involves Men and Women over the age of 55. One of the greatest assets of the Body of Christ is the senior men and women of God who offer wisdom, prayer, and spiritual mentoring to the congregation. Life's greatest achievements can occur with seniors. They will still bear fruit in old age and stay vibrant and young.

Missions

Our Missions Program is one of many ways in which we are fulfilling the Great Commission. Jesus told us to, “Go ye into all the world preaching the gospel and making disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost (Matt. 28:19).” Realizing that we all can’t go to the mission field, we can certainly do our part by supporting those who do. The life of a missionary is often one without reward here in this life. But missionaries have a great reward coming as they will one day stand before the Lord and hear Him say, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”

Destin Assembly supports missionaries all across the globe, as well as (home missions) in the states. Our church firmly believes in the importance of a strong missions program. We take teams to visit and encourage those on foreign soil; send monthly support; Destin Assembly is truly, “A spirit-filled church reaching out to an empty world.”
